Here we try to clarify all steps to get Iran visa. Although many people think getting Iranian visa is a complicated task or even impossible, I want to ensure you that it is very clear and easy to get Iran visa in few steps. In fact, Iran visa policy and regulations are not complicated at all and due to new changes in Iranian visa policy, most nationalities (expect 10 countries) are eligible to apply for an Iran visa on arrival (Iran airport visa) at Iran international airports. To get sure that you will be granted an Iran visa, you have to:
- Get Iran visa grant notice (Iran visa authorization code) through an authorized Iranian travel agency. (You can apply online here to get Iran visa authorization code)
- Get Iran visa stamped in your passport at Iran consulates or upon arrival at International airports of Iran.
We will describe these 2 steps in more details in the following paragraphs:
Get Iran Visa – Step 1) Getting your Iran visa authorization code:
- Fill in the Iran visa application form online
You will provide us with your Iran trip itinerary, passport specification, job details and passport first page and personal picture scan through the online Iranian visa application form. You will receive a confirmation email promptly and one of our Iran visa specialist check your Iran visa request to see if all details and required documents are correct and complete.
- Pay the service fee
After checking your documents, you will receive the payment instructions by email or a call from us. The service charge is normally about 40 euros for most nationalities. It can be slightly higher for some nationalities. Please note that this is travel agency charge to get your Iran visa authorization code and is different from the Iran visa fee which you must pay to the consulate to stamp your passport.
- Receive your Iran visa approval (Iran visa authorization code)
After receiving your payment, we will send your Iran visa application and supporting documents to MFA (Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs). It usually takes about 3 working days for MFA to issue your Iranian visa grant notice (Iran visa authorization code). Then MFA send a pdf (printable) version of your Iran visa authorization letter to us and we will promptly forward it to you by email.
Get Iran Visa – Step 2) Collect your Iranian visa from Iran consulates or Iran international airports
Having the Iranian visa grant notice, you can refer to one of Iranian consulates or fly to one of Iranian International airports and submit other required documents to collect your Iranian visa. At this stage you have to pay the Iran visa fee directly to Iran consulate or Iran visa office at Iran international airports to stamp your visa.
Due to the new Iran visa regulations, starting on September 23rd 2011, all Iran visa applicants, along with other required documents, must enclose the proof of an adequate medical travel insurance coverage from Iranian or foreign insurance agents to allow smooth processing of their Iran visa application.
